Among the prominent attendees are the SENA Atlántico, the Governor's Office of Atlántico and numerous businessmen of the department, all united to show the wealth and potential of the agricultural sector of the region.
The academic agenda includes the participation of 90 exhibitors presenting a variety of innovative products. Attendees will enjoy cassava and corn products, dairy products such as yogurt and cheese, jams, hot bell pepper, mango and cocoa sauces, coconut palm and wax palm handicrafts, fertilizers, and more. These products not only represent the quality and effort of the farmers, but also reflect the cultural richness and innovation of the agricultural sector of the Atlantic.
During the inauguration of the event, the Secretary of Economic Development, Marisabella Romero Sanjuan, stressed the importance of these spaces to consolidate the image of the department's entrepreneurs. “We are here from July 17 to 21. These events definitely move the economy of our department and achieve a development and impact on the families of the atlanticenses. We are an Atlántico that, united, carries out this type of events that enhance us as a region,” she said.
Edith Johana Gil, corn farmer from the municipality of Galapa, expressed her joy for the opportunity to participate in AgroExpo Caribe and highlighted the support received from the departmental administration. “Very happy to be in this event and my thanks to the Governor of Atlántico for giving farmers the opportunity to be here. These spaces open our vision as entrepreneurs and undoubtedly are a showcase abroad in the marketing of our products, “he exclaimed.
