During the last few months, The Single Window of Investment (VUI) team has worked in a constant, disciplined and creative manner to achieve the launch of the Transactional VUI in June.

This project, promoted by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, has a team highly specialized in innovation, technology, legal security for investors, development and human management.

With monthly face-to-face meetings, the team, composed of more than seven private entities, has been conducting extensive tests to ensure that foreign investors in Colombia find a simplified and centralized investment process in one place.

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has been a great support for this project, reaffirming its commitment to contribute everything necessary to make the Transactional VUI a reality in June. PROCOLOMBIA has also played a crucial role, supporting the dissemination so that more foreign investors are aware of this facilitating tool. 

The main objective of The Single Window of Investment (VUI) is to simplify and streamline the requirements and procedures for investors to establish and operate in Colombia, reducing costs and time. The transactional phase of this project is fundamental to offer a secure, agile and simplified process for investors.

The launch of the Transactional VUI in June will be the result of the efforts, commitment and dedication of a tireless team that counts the days to see their work become a reality.
