The National Meeting of the Investment Promotion Agencies of the Invest Network, held in Ibagué on June 13 and 14, brought together 16 APRIS from all over the country.

The main objective of the meeting was to analyze the challenges and opportunities that they will have to face together to promote the attraction of investment in the different regions of Colombia, taking into account the current socioeconomic context of the country.

During the event, several initiatives and proposals for the second half of the year were presented. Among the main actions to be managed by Red Invest, with the support of the National Government, priority will be given to projects that can be executed in the regions. These include support for projects to simplify and streamline procedures for the territories prioritized in the VUI Call for Proposals, strengthening the governance of the Invest Network and coordination with ProColombia to define the Colombia Investment Roadshow strategy.

Óscar Germán Díaz Enciso, leader of the Promotion and Investment Strategy - Invest in Tolima, described this event as positive. He emphasized that it fostered interest in strengthening ties within the Network and allowed the adhesion of five new agencies. It also facilitated the relationship and connection between the members, promoting their joint work initiatives.

These measures seek not only to attract foreign investment, but also to improve efficiency and transparency in regional administrative processes, thus contributing to the economic and social development of the different areas of the country.
